About the Curriculum
I've often felt that our industry would be best served by an Apprenticeship model. This Mentorship is the culmination of the skills I wish I'd had access to from the beginning.
For the last six years I’ve worked Somatically with referrals in the areas of childhood-, sexual-, domestic- and physical- trauma and practiced in Integrative Medical settings receiving referrals for chronic pain and professional- burnout.
As a practitioner, I’ve experienced first- and second-hand the structures and policies necessary to prevent our own Burnout while working with a heavy case load.
For the last five years, I’ve undertaken partnerships and community collaboration to relieve the burden on the health system by up-skilling Body workers, Yoga teachers, Movement Instructors & Community-Leaders in community-deliverable psyche-soma frameworks.
This approach is inspired by successful Global Health approaches in upskilling health workers in developing countries, where the proportion of psychiatrists per capita is especially low.
The Trauma-Informed Somatic Convergence is part of a bigger Sustainability model, which includes upskilling vulnerable members of our communities, via design-principles applied to education, housing, finance and the arts (See Autonomy School for more info).
It is also in-line with the Australian governments National Allied Health Workforce's goal to address allied health shortages in Australia, and National Digital Health- Strategy's goal of person-centred, inclusive, data-driven health system.
Graduates have the opportunity to generate an immediate income via existing networks
Given the nature of Somatic practice, this training is offered as an in-person in-house professional development and locum clinic to existing professional networks throughout Brisbane and along the east coast of Australia
Having worked with Trauma from several (psyche-soma) lenses, and witnessed results across various patient-client demographics, there have been a myriad of FAQs uncovered which will significantly reduce the risks to you and your practice as you take on a more significant role in Australia’s health system.

"This experience honestly blew me away.
I came in curious—but left with so much more than I expected.
The performance breathing and structural alignment coaching were absolute highlights for me. I felt stronger, clearer, and more connected to my body than I have in a long time.
The setting was stunning, the food was next-level, and the team? Each practitioner brought something unique—it felt really balanced and deeply held.
I’ve walked away with new tools and a much deeper understanding of how to work with my own nervous system to manage stress. Total game-changer."
